Book Review: Our Version of Euphoria by Ms. Bhatia

Our Version of Euphoria by Ms. Bhatia is Book Number One in The Rajvansh Heir Series. This book starts well with wonderful lines that give the first impression of the story. Reading those lines pushed me to explore more.

The author Ms. Bhatia has wonderfully crafted the characters of the male and female protagonists.

Kritika is a lawyer by profession and reluctant by nature. She absolutely loves her freedom. She is an orphan girl who fights hard to become a successful lawyer. She is in her happy space and blessed with loving friends.

I can easily relate myself to Kritika’s character. Just like her, I love spending time alone and enjoying myself. The way she brushes off people’s harsh comments is worth learning,

Abhimaan Rajvansh is possessive by nature and loves to control people. He loves his family and is a good-hearted man. But he will cross all the limits to protect his loved ones and would never leave any stone unturned to punish his enemies or people who tried to hurt his near and dear ones.

Initially, it feels like it’s a love story with no villains. But as the story progresses and things start to unfold an invisible enemy comes to the light. The main theme of the book is based on friendship, family bonding, and true love can bridge societal gaps and enmity.

The author used simple vocabulary and I didn’t find any mistakes while reading it. The use of Hindi and Rajasthani words adds flavor to the story.

The best part is the author has also written the English meaning in the bracket for people who don’t know the language. However, I didn’t face any problems since I learned a lot of Rajasthani words while watching Balika Vadhu.

I like the story but feel that emotion and scenes were explained more than required. This makes the flow of the story slow. Otherwise, it’s a great love story of a King and an orphan girl who accidentally becomes a queen.

This book is a perfect balance of love and suspense which makes it a roller-coaster ride for a reader. If you love reading stories that move around the life of royals and are full of emotions then I will recommend you to read Our Version of Euphoria by Ms. Bhatia.
