Musafir Cafe by Divya Prakash Dubey is a story of every millennial who is confused about their life and runs away from marriage. It is an emotional roller coaster ride for me and the end of the book filled my eyes with tears.
While searching for my next Hindi fiction book, I came across this amazing book. The best part of this book is that it is free on a Kindle Unlimited Subscription. I love everything about the book from the cover to the characters, the name of the book to its narration style, and finally the main theme of the book.
Through this story, the main aim of the writer is to find the true purpose of life. If you fail to do so then move with the flow of life. Because many times life does not follow the rules and everything does not happen as per our wishes. We can’t expect others to behave as per our expectations.
Chander is the mature, confused, and caring character in the story. He falls in love with a girl who doesn’t want to tie herself to marriage. When he failed to convince Sudha he left his job and Sudha both at the time. Initially, I thought he was right but then I realized that Sudha is also right.
Sudha is a bold and witty character in the story who is very clear about life. Due to her job and her past personal experience, she does not want to tie herself into the marriage. Through the character of Sudha, the author throws light on the emotions of many millennials of the current time.
Many times due to their past experiences many boys and girls do not want to tie themselves in the marriage. I believe somewhere they are not wrong. Everyone has their opinion.
The story of Musafir Cafe by Divya Prakash Dubey flows smoothly and will make you laugh and cry if you are an emotional person like me. The author has wonderfully sketched the characters of Sudha and Chander. I love the chemistry between Sudha and Chander in the story. I find the character of Sudha very bold and expresses her opinions very clearly while on the other hand, the character of Chander is very motivating. The end of the book made me emotional but I am satisfied with the end of the story.
Overall this is a very well-written and interesting book that throws light on the reality of life. The story is crisp and clear and I never felt bored while reading and few twists and turns keep me hooked to the story. I will highly recommend Musafir Cafe by Divya Prakash Dubey if you love exploring Hindi Fiction Books.

“सच बताऊँ तो मैं शादी करना ही नहीं चाहती. घर वालें परेशान न करे इसलिए मिलने आ जाती हूँ और कोई न कोई बहाना बना के लड़के रिजेक्ट कर देती हूँ.”
मुसाफिर कैफ़े चंदर और सुधा की जिंदगी की कहानी हैं. यह कहानी दिव्य प्रकाश दुबे द्वारा लिखी गई हैं. इस कहानी में सुधा और चंदर पहली बार मुंबई में एक दूसरे से मिलते हैं. उनकी यह मीटिंग उनके परिवार ने शादी के लिए फिक्स की थी. कुछ देर बात करने के बाद वह एक दुसरे को साफ़-साफ़ बता देते हैं कि वह अभी शादी नहीं करना चाहते हैं.
कुछ वक्त साथ बिताने के बाद वह अपने-अपने घर लौट जाते हैं. वे एक दुसरे से एक दो बार फिर से मिलते हैं. एक दिन अचानक चंदर को सुधा का आधी रात को फ़ोन आता हैं और वह उसे अपने घर ले जाने को कहती हैं. पहले तो चंदर थोडा झिझकता हैं लेकिन फिर वो मान जाता हैं.
कुछ हफ्ते तक वो दोनों मिलकर सुधा के लिए नए रहने की जगह खोज करते हैं. लेकिन फिर वो दोनों एक दुसरे के बहुत करीब आ जाते हैं. इस तरह प्यार में एक साल से ऊपर हो जाता हैं. चंदर बार-बार शादी करने को कहता हैं. लेकिन सुधा हर बार मना कर देती हैं. एक दिन शादी वाली बात पर उनकी बहुत बहस हो जाती हैं और सुधा घर छोड़कर चली जाती हैं. जब चंदर उसे मेसेज कर अपनी मुम्मी से मिलने बुलाता हैं तो वह स्टेशन पर आती हैं. चंदर की मम्मी के जाने के बाद सुधा चंदर को बताती हैं के वह प्रेग्नेंट हैं. यह बात सुनकर चंदर बहुत खुश हो जाता हैं. वह फिर से शादी करने को कहता हैं, लेकिन सुधा अब भी तैयार नहीं होती हैं.
आखिर में चंदर थक-हारकर अपनी नौकरी से इस्तीफा देकर मुंबई शहर छोड़ चला जाता हैं अपनी जिंदगी के असली मतलब को खोजने. कुछ दिन हरिद्वार में रहकर वो बस में बैठकर मसूरी आ जाता हैं. यहाँ उसकी मुलाकात पम्मी से होती हैं. मसूरी में वह पम्मी के साथ मिलकर एक कैफ़े खोलता हैं.
