Bad Girl Gone Good by Alish Kay is Book 1 in the Bad Girl series. This book features the journey of two opposite individuals who fell in love with each other at a very young age.
The heroine of the book Aisha Rajput is the life of cool parties, holds a bad girl image, and invites scandals. Behind this bad girl image, there lies a good heart which often many people can’t see.
Only her friend Tara and Inaya understand her and are her biggest support in life. The girls share an amazing bond. I felt jealous of Aisha being blessed with such wonderful friends. I wish I had friends like Inaya and Tara who supported me in happy and bad times.
The story of Inaya and Tara the Bad Girl Gone Rogue and Bad Girl Gone Wicked are others. These are the next two in the series. I am excited to read both of them.
The hero of the story Kabir Pradan is a neonatologist by profession. He is a reputed doctor and a man with a golden heart. He is a good-hearted person and behaves nicely with others. To save his father’s hospital is the only dream in his life. But, he still carries the bitter memories of the day Aisha broke her heart.
The Rajmata of Bannor (D Ma) is another interesting character in the book. She is also one of the board of directors of Usha Kiran Hospital. She is the one who brings together Kabir and Aisha to work on a fundraiser to save the hospital. Despite lots of rejections from the two main protagonists she sticks with her intuition to bring them together.
This is a well-written book about two different individuals who fell in love with each other. Both Aisha and Kabir grow positively as the story progresses.
Initially, the story flows smoothly. I was hooked with the book till the half but the suspense was broken in the middle of the book. I felt a little difficult to continue with the story.
Overall it is a good story with well-written characters. The author used simple language and had done justice with the editing part. If you love contemporary romance with a hot heroine and a sober hero then you will enjoy this book.
