Book Review: His Accidental Princess by Kyra Seth

His Accidental Princess by Kyra Seth is full of romance, drama, and action that will take you to the world of the Royal of Nagaur. This is the first book in the Royal Guard series.

The book starts with a snow white trying to break into a royal gathering and Major Samar ran to stop her considering her attacker who came to spoil the royal gathering. It seems like a totally filmy start.

The author has wonderfully portrayed the character. There are two main protagonists in the story and only a handful of other characters.

Samar Deshmukh is the hot hero of the book. He is an emotionally disturbed hero who is not ready for a relationship. He is good-hearted, brave, loving, caring, and hot. In short, he is the dream man of every girl’s life.

Sona is a beautiful, chirpy, and caring heroine of the story. I love her character, and her insecurities resonate with any orphan who suddenly came face to face with a long-lost family. She is a brave girl who never hides her emotions and always follows her heart.

The book flows smoothly and keeps the reader hooked with twists and turns from time to time. The author has created enough suspense and deadly attraction between the two main protagonists to make the story interesting.

I believe this is a good book to read on a holiday when you just want to think about romance and little suspense to make things interesting. I love the plot and it was difficult for me to guess the main culprit. The whole book is focused on the two main characters. I was expecting more details about the rest of the characters.

This book had everything love, romance, royal drama, action, and sizzling chemistry between the two main protagonists to keep you hooked with the story. Now I am eagerly waiting to read His Reluctant Princess, the second one in the series..

If you love reading romance novels then I will highly recommend you to read His Accidental Princess by Kyra Seth.

Book Summary: His Accidental Princess by Kyra Seth

Sona Singh is an orphan who is thrown out of the orphanage once she turns 18. She is working as a waitress to fund her higher education and to pay her rent and food bills. While serving starters in a high-profile royal gathering she came face to face with an old woman who looks exactly like her.

The next day Major Samar Deshmukh, the head of  The Royal Guard, a private security firm, came to visit her on behalf of Rani Saheb of Nagaur. She claimed that there is a possibility that Sona is the daughter of her late daughter Princess Smriti.

Initially, Sona refused to go for a DNA test but somehow Rani Sahiba managed to convince her. The old woman left her in the protection of Major Samar Deshmukh. She was attacked at night by her ex-boyfriend Tilak and Samar managed to save her. The next day when the results came positive, he again helped her to digest the fact and took him to Nagaur.

They both were attracted to each other and when she tried to come closer, he moved away gracefully saying he is not ready for a relationship. When Tilak was caught by the Royal Guard team he confessed before dying that he was paid to kill Sona.

Who was trying to kill Sona?

Would Sona and Samar ever come closer to each other?
