The author has wonderfully framed the characters in the story. Mostly the story revolves around the two main protagonists Princess Natasha and Maharaja Digvijay Singh.
Princess Natasha is a hot, beautiful, and strong woman who always lives on her terms. After battling with childhood abuse by her mother she came out strong and always stood for her rights.
Maharaja Digvijay Singh is a hot, brave, and macho hero who always lives on his terms. He loves Tasha wholeheartedly. When Tasha ran away to Goa after breaking their engagement, he went there without thinking twice and left no stone unturned in protecting and catching the stalker.
I love the amazing chemistry between them. When he calls her Princess and she teases him by calling Your Highness my heart skips a beat. Being romantic at heart I really enjoyed their romance while exploring this book. Romantic and emotional talks between Tasha and DV increase my heartbeats.
The story of the book His Reluctant Princess by Kyra Seth revolves around two main characters Princess Natasha and Maharaja Digvijay Singh. Limited characters keep the reader fully involved in the story and as well as help the reader to understand the depth of their actions and emotions.
Few characters are common between the two books. Although the story of the two books is connected, it is not necessary to read the first one if you want to enjoy this book.
Through this story, the author tried to bring awareness to childhood abuse and the way it creates lots of insecurities and fears in a child’s life.
The story flows smoothly and keeps the reader fully engrossed in the story. The mutual attraction and difference of opinion between the two main characters make the story hot and enchanting.
Interesting twists and turns make it a roller-coaster ride and it was difficult for me to guess the plot and the stalker. I liked this book but I enjoyed reading His Accidental Princess, the first one in the series out of the two books.
If you love reading a psychopath thriller that takes place in a royal setting full of romance then I will highly recommend you to read His Reluctant Princess by Kyra Seth.

Natasha Raje (Tasha) is the princess of Hindal who after breaking her engagement with Maharaja Digvijay Singh (DV) ran away to Goa to live in a commune called Paradisco owned by her father’s friend Freddy Suratwala.
Her mother Princess Rati is in prison for killing her sister and his brother-in-law. Her maternal grandmother is still grieving the death of her elder daughter Princess Smriti. Her cousin Sona is happily married to Samar and taking care of things back home.
Finally with time when Tasha starts to feel relaxed, DV comes to see her with his new girlfriend Vinnie, Sona, and Samar. Seeing someone else with her ex-fiance made her feel bad and jealous both at times.
When she tried to send all four of them away, everyone was shocked to find a murdered hen on her bed. When DV and Samar discover this, they consider this a threat to the security of Royal Princess Natasha Raje. Instead of going back, DV decides to stay with Natasha.
What will happen when Tasha and DV will stay together?
