Book Review: The Intertwined Strings of Fate by Aahaana M.

The Intertwined Strings of Fate is Book 1 of the Singhania Series by Aahaana M. This book celebrates the perfect love story of a simple girl Meera and caring Sourya who accidentally come together in an arranged marriage setting.

The cover of the book is good and the title gives justice to the flow of the story. There are so many characters in the story and the author has nicely crafted them.

Sourya Singhania is a straightforward and workaholic twenty-six-year-old businessman who always runs away from marriage. He is overprotective of his family.  But when his cousin Rohan broke his engagement with Meera, he agreed to marry her to save his family’s name and somewhere deep he also liked her.

Meera is a simple and shy girl who is a teacher by profession. Everyone in her family loves her. She agrees to marry Sourya because she finds him more understanding than Rohan. Deep in her heart, she knows that she and Rohan are never meant to be with each other.

Priya was the main villain in the story. She is a cunning and jealous woman who is just after money. In her desperation for materialistic things, she lost everything in life. But it seems like her character was less explored in the story. I would love to read more about her and Rohan. Hope the author will discuss more about them in the next book.

The Intertwined Strings of Fate by Aahaana M. tells the story of two good-hearted people who come together in an arranged marriage setting. The book nicely covers the big fat wedding where every family member is super excited about traditional clothes and decorations.

The fun banters and loving gestures between the siblings and cousins are heart-warming. I love the family bonding in the story. The love of Suman for her daughter-in-law is sweet and exhilarating. Twins Aarav and Riya are cute and mature altogether to keep everyone happy in a joint family.

There is lots of family drama, jealousy, and competition which seems like an Indian Saas-Bahu saga.

The story flows nicely with some twists and turns keeping the reader hooked with the story. The end is predictable and the suspense element is comparatively less.

Although I like everything about the book but not satisfied with the editing parts. There are a few spelling mistakes and double words.

This story is full of love, family bonding, and a husband-wife relationship. If you love reading cute love stories filled with family drama then I will recommend you to read The Intertwined Strings of Fate by Aahaana M.

Book Summary: The Intertwined Strings of Fate by Aahaana M.

Meera’s father Suraj Rao promised her marriage to twenty-four years old Rohan who happens to be the son of his best friend Neel Singhania. Both Rohan and Meera respected their parent’s decision.

Unfortunately, just a week before engagement Rohan secretly got married to Priya. Seeing him married to some other woman just before the planned engagement his father didn’t take it lightly and blamed the newlywed couple. However, after connecting with Priya’s parents they decided to accept the couple.

Seeing Rohan had brought lots of embarrassment for Singhania’s family, Neels’s elder brother Raj Singhania decided to ask Meera’s hand for his elder son Sourya Singhania.

With little opposition both the families agreed to the marriage after getting consent from the couple. Since Meera and Rohan didn’t have feelings for each other she was happy to get hitched with Sourya who accepted him with an open heart.

Seeing Sourya showering Meera with lots of gifts and love, Priya starts feeling jealous of her. Within a few days of her marriage, Priya concluded that she married the wrong brother. Now, she wants to break her marriage with Rohan and be with Sourya.

Did Priya have any success in breaking Meera’s marriage with Sourya?

Will Meera trust Sourya with Priya trying hard to grab his attention?

Did Rohan ever discover about Priya’s plan of breaking his cousin’s marriage?
