The title of the book beautifully complements the plot and flow of this modern day Cinderella story. The book is written in simple English and makes it easy to finish within a few sittings.The author, Kyra Seth, expertly crafted the story’s male and female protagonists.
Viren Chaudhary is a controlled man who knows how to control his emotions, work, and the people around him. Music mogul Viren has lost many loved ones in his life. Now he does not want to lose Aisha, who is his best friend and cousin Devan’s daughter. He seems tough from the outside, but inside he is a lovely man who cares about the people around him.
Sunaina Chauhan is a sassy and cute girl. She lost her father long ago and was living with her stepmother. To save herself from her stepmother, who wants her to get married to an old man, she married Viren Chauhan.
Sufi is the sweetest brother and friend to Sunaina, who always guides and understands her. He is smart, always saves Sunaina, and counsels her in the right direction to save her marriage with Viren. Daya Bua and Aisha are very sweet, and their love for Viren and Sunaina is innocent and unconditional.
The story is set in a rich royal setting where everything glitters from the outside and seems happy, but there is a lot of loss and grief. The story flows smoothly with lots of love and jealousy between the two main protagonists, which keeps the reader intrigued with the story till the end.
I love everything about the book except that the culprit behind Sunaina’s accident remained unexposed. It was something that I found missing in the story. Otherwise, it’s a good book for readers who love exploring contemporary romance novels.

Music mogul and billionaire Viren Chaudhary married Sunaina Chauhan to formally adopt his niece, Aisha, who happened to be his cousin’s daughter. He wants to protect her from his maternal uncle, who is behind her wealth.
Viren always led a controlled life and maintained a safe distance from Sunaina to protect his heart. Falling in love was not part of the plan, and the marriage with Sunaina had an expiry date. Everything was going according to plan, but slowly, without realizing it, both Viren and Sunaina started falling for each other.
