Book Review: Ray of Hope by Ruchi Chandra Verma and Payal Dedhia

Ray of Hope by Ruchi Chandra Verma and Payal Dedhia is a book that tells the story of Viaan and Niyati who had a troubled past. This book is sweet, emotional, spicy, cute, and inspiring altogether. This is my first book from both authors and I must say together they have written an inspiring life story of Viaan and Niyati.

The title and cover of the book give full justice to the story of the book. The two authors had wonderfully crafted all the characters in the book.

Niyati is a 24-year-old girl from Meerut whose life was turned upside down due to a bad incident that took place in her life. She was depressed for a long time and shifted to Delhi to get good treatment. With the help of a therapist and her parents, she somehow gets back to normal. She completed her studies and found a good job in Bangalore.

Viaan Singhania is a handsome and workaholic CEO who built a successful startup from scratch with the help of his two friends. He had an estranged relationship with his father and his mother passed away long back. He had a troubled and lonely childhood and teenage years.

He shares a lovely bond with his two friends Mihir and Paritosh Patel. I love the friendship between Mihir, Viaan, and Paritosh Patel. Niyati too shares an amazing bond with her parents and they are her only support system.

Mostly the story revolves around these two characters and one hidden villain who is always there between the lovers. The anger, love, and over-protectiveness of Viaan were heartwarming.

Anger followed by love and fear followed by courage is the central theme of the story. The book conveys the message just like Niyati: Every girl should stand for justice.

I love the flow of the book. The office romance and work environment are covered nicely to maintain the flow of the story. This book is written in simple language with a handful of twists and turns to keep the story going. The best part is the fears and introverted nature of both the protagonists keep the reader hooked with the story.

At times I feel that few things are explained a little more than required. Overall, it is a great book with an inspiring story and every girl should read this amazing love story of Viaan and Niyati.

If you love reading simple and sweet love stories then I will recommend you to read Ray of Hope by Ruchi Chandra Verma and Payal Dedhia.
