Book Review: Married in Rage by Shilpa Suraj
Married in Rage by Shilpa Suraj is full of drama, fun, rage, and sibling love. The fast-paced story and alpha hero makes it a fun ride for a reader. Through this story, author Shilpa Suraj has unveiled many secrets of Bollywood, Politics, and Social media and its importance in the life of families who are in constant limelight of the public.
Although this is a standalone contemporary romance novel, I recommend you to read Married in Hate and Married in Deceit, the first two books in the Dynasty Rebels series.
I love the characters and the portrayal of their feelings for each other. The siblings support each other and also give space to each other. This is the best part I loved about the Dynasty Rebels series’s characters.
Harsh Kodela is a popular, handsome, and flawed well-known hero who has many followers on social media and in the whole state. The followers call themselves Harshians. They are ready to harm anyone if they even speak rudely to their superhero. The heroine of the story, Raashi Gadde, the heiress of the media empire, dares to insult Harsh Kodela openly during his film screening.
Like the story’s hero, Raashi too had a temper and was always ready to fight with Harsh or give him back answers. Sometimes, this caused them to hurt or attract each other.
Like the first two in the series, this book is full of family drama, love, and friendship. The story flows at a fast pace with lots of ups and downs. The book is written in simple English with some Telugu words which add regional flavours to the story.
The contrasting personality and sparkling chemistry between Harsh and Raashi with a lot of political drama makes this book unputdownable. Through this story, the author touched on the sensitive topic of dyslexia and the support needed by such individuals.
The hero and heroine of the first two are now in a happy space with each other. All of them along with Ram, Raashi’s brother and Aadhya who is Aarush’s sister support the hottest hero and erudite heroine of the story in their roller-coaster journey of love, hate, and marriage. Now I am eagerly waiting to read Ram and Aadhya’s story.
Banters, heated moments, romance, friendship, and undeniable attraction with past secrets make this book a must-read for romance book lovers. If you love reading contemporary romance then I will highly recommend you to read Married in Rage by Shilpa Suraj.
